Information

Don't feel that you have to rush into making any decisions regarding your wedding flowers. Unlike other aspects of planning your wedding, such as the venue or your dress, we don’t need to finalise the order until a couple of weeks before the wedding. There’s always plenty of time if you want to have a think or change your mind about exactly what you want.

The best time to finalise your wedding flowers is when you have chosen your venues, dresses & colour scheme (bridesmaids dresses). It is best to reserve your wedding date and book this consultation in advance. You can do this in any of our shops or by calling our wedding team on 01656 783519.

When you come for your consultation, bring any swatches of fabric or pictures you have for your dress and the bridesmaids dresses as this is often the starting point for flowers. Also, if you seen pictures in magazines of things you like (and don’t like!) bring these with you.

Some people have a very clear idea about the type of flowers and decoration that they would like, but don’t worry if you don’t. The purpose of the consultation is to find out about you and your character, and help you to choose flowers that will reflect your personality and bring your dreams to life.

We will contact you about two weeks before the wedding to confirm the order and check for any final adjustments. By this time you should have a more accurate idea of the number of guests to expect and so be able to tell us how many tables there are, chair backs to decorate etc You also need to consider factors such as access to the venues, when the flowers should be delivered and who will be responsible for them.

We probably won’t see you on your wedding day as you will be busy with other things. You can be assured that all on-site set up is completed by a senior professional florist who is well equipped to make any last minute adjustments on the day and make sure that the venues look perfect ready for your arrival.
